Meet Christina...

Hello, I am Christina, your newborn and milestone photographer. I am a wife and a mom to two growing boys. I have always had a passion for photography and have always been the designated baby holder at family events. I didn't find my true calling until after I had my first son and had some bad photography experiences. I knew I needed to combine my two passions and become an amazing newborn photographer so that I could help new moms avoid the struggles that I went through. In 2013, I decided to devote every spare moment I had to learn everything possible about newborn photography. I am now proud to call myself a Baby-Whisperer. I would be honored to help your family make memories that can be looked back on and cherished for generations to come.

This was our first time doing newborn photos and it was such a fascinating experience. Christina’s calm demeanor and attention to detail made our session go so smoothly. She was incredibly patient and relaxed while working with our daughter and never rushed us when she needed to take a break. Her home studio is cozy, clean, and welcoming. It was wonderful arriving and seeing all the setups for the morning thoughtfully laid out and organized, which made things even more relaxing because we had few decisions to make while Christina went to work. She managed everything beautifully and the images she captured from our session are gorgeous. Christina does fantastic work! I found her through a recommendation on Facebook and looked at her portfolio and decided to go with her. From the first interaction, she was professional and quick with responses. We arrived at her in-home studio where my little one was not wanting to cooperate, Christina was so patient, it took almost an hour to get my little one to sleep, and once he was, Christina went to work! We had such a great experience with Christina in doing our daughter's newborn photos! Christina specializes in newborn and children’s photos and it shows- she was great with our daughter and very efficient with our time. I never felt rushed in the process of the day, even when my two-year-old was less than cooperative. She also went above and beyond to try to match the “set” (background) that we had with my other daughter's newborn photos from another photographer. The photos turned out incredibly and editing was very quick- she also gave me black and white versions of all the photos which was a great surprise! "First off I would like to say as a first time mom it is STRESSFUL to venture out and find a newborn photographer that you know will do a good job and won’t break the bank. I had stumbled upon Christina Joye photography on Facebook and she had new props she wanted to try out and needed a fresh baby to try them on. In turn we would receive 5 free photos. I figured “well, if we don’t like these photos we can go somewhere else and get what we want.” Boy were we blown away! She was beyond amazing to work with and knows her way around a newborn for sure! She handled our sweet girl so gently and had all the coolest gadgets to keep her nice and relaxed! So relaxed that she got peed and pooped on a couple times which never phased her once! Christina was beyond professional, wore a mask the whole time (Even though we felt comfortable without it.) She made us feel so comfortable and it was amazing to watch her work and get creative with her props. We could have watched her photograph our baby girl all day! Her pricing is pretty fair considering the amazing job she does!
